Easy Data Recovery: Know the Ways

Creating backup files is probably one of the most common things that computer users often does not do. I for one am guilty of this. It’s not actually that I don’t know how to do it but just like other people that love to procrastinate and later on forget things that they should do----you may say that I too am again guilty of that.

However problems often arise for people (just like me) who do not create back up files. I remember having to rewrite at least twenty articles since the system files of my pc was destroyed by a virus (that’s what my technician told me). And he said that he needs to reformat the hard drive BUT (there was this big BUT) he said that all of my files are going to be lost.

When he said that I felt like panicking because I need to pass my articles the next day and rushing twenty articles is not a joke. What is the moral lesson of this story? --- To create always backup files of all your important documents and place them in a reliable media. There are portable and removable data storages where you can put all your important documents. The benefit of this type of storage system is that your documents are completely secured even if things go wrong with your computer.

That is so far the best solution that you can take to prevent data loss. However if you are one of those individuals that in spite of numerous warnings still have not tried to back up your drive, all I can say is… just be thankful that there are geniuses out there that provides easy data recovery services and file recovery software.

Ways of Recovering Data
At present there are two proven ways of recovering lost data from damaged disk. First is by means of employing a data recovery service or using a data recovery software package (which you can purchase from data recovery service providers). In short you can choose either to do it yourself or to hire the services of a data recovery service crew.

These two options come with benefits. For instance if you choose to do the data recovery yourself then you would be able to save a lot of money from paying service fee. Plus you can use the data recovery software you bought the next time you have the same computer problem. But the big question is DO YOU KNOW HOW TO DO IT?

Because even if there are instructions provided on the software if you are not a computer savvy then the probability of you following correctly the instructions is slight. And just think of the time that you are going to waste figuring out how to do make the software to work. Good if you are a patient individual because I’m sure you would not loose your cool every time the software doesn’t work the way it should. But if you happen to be an impatient individual (like me) it’s better to turn over the job to the experts.

Hiring a data recovery service also has odds but compared to doing it yourself the odds are slightly lesser. The first thing that you can consider as part of the odds is the possibility of recovering the whole portion of your lost data. Because generally the accepted recovery rate among this type of services is only 80%, which means that the remaining 20% represents the data that just cannot be retrieve.

But if we are to think about it, its better to have 80% retrieved data compared to losing all of your important documents. You can search online for data recovery service providers if you want to cut cost. Most of the specialist that you would found online makes use of highly sophisticated data recovery software so you can be sure that you are getting quality services.
